Man, March seemed to ZOOM past, I hope you all enjoyed March as much as I did. Normally, it’s not my favourite time of the year. Here is Canada this time of year means – snow storms then warm days, rain showers, then snow again, and finally it ends in a muddy, yucky mess!
However, I managed to meet ALL of my goals this month and I am just so super pumped about it! Let’s look into it!
My March Goals
- Create a tutorial for each Friday – Done
- Create a mandala for each Monday – Done
- Do 1 video on youtube per week – BIG DONE
- How to Draw a Kawaii Mandala – technically this was part of Feb but I posted it in such a way that it kind of started the weekly uploads.

- How to Doodle Kawaii Expressions – Part 2
- 50 More Doodles with Circles
- How to Doodle Kawaii Expressions – Part 3
Bonus Shorts Uploaded
I did try to upload some shorts as I know there is a push for that, and I create them for tik tok and IG as well.
I struggled with when to upload, but by the end of the month I decided I would post on Saturdays. My next goal will be to have them scheduled for certain times!

- I did actually start this, not much to it right now I am still trying to figure out how I want it to go, but while I am doing that I am adding more content so it will be a worthwhile source for people who want to join and will offer lots of value!
So Yeah, I did it!
I’m really proud of myself this month, I stuck to my plan and I really committed myself to DO this. It is crazy to think I just started this journey really in November of last year and have already come so far. I really do owe a lot of my success to Tatyana’s Kawaii Drawing Community. For me a HUGE part of this path is accountability and having someone to do this with. I am so happy to have found some like minded people who I can chat with and show my work to, get feedback and also just have a good time.

Some Monthly Highlights & Stats
This month was a huge month for me. My youtube channel has done SO much better than I thought it would. I maybe don’t have a million followers (yet?) but I feel as though I have made great strides so far!

- 150 subscribers on March 31 (this was actually predicted to happen April 20th so I am really shocked/awed/grateful for this one!)

- My top viewed video How to Create a Kawaii Mandala, reached 1000 views on March 25 – Although I am super proud of this one I am also a little upset – I didn’t put as much effort into this video, honestly I was running out of time and needed to do something so this doesn’t really feel well earned!
I did well on IG as well this month getting 455 followers now in total. I am still posting my usual Monday and Friday as well as a bit here and there. I think it’s obvious now though my main focus is youtube. At the time of writing this I now have 153 subscribers on youtube and it’s really just mind blowing to me. I can’t wait until I can get better at editing my videos so I can really bring some great value to this community!
